About Allied Arts

Have you ever thought, "I wish someone would do something about that... " Well, now you can help make things happen by joining Seattle's oldest arts advocacy organization. Since 1954, Allied Arts of Seattle has been the rallying point for people concerned about the arts, the character of our urban environment, and the preservation of Seattle's quality of life.

Become a member and have an influence on the decisions that shape our community. Members may take an active part in committees focusing on issues related to arts advocacy and urban environment. No matter your passion -- performing arts, architecture, history, growth-related issues, visual arts or just making sure that the vitality of our city remains intact -- you'll find a place within Allied Arts to get involved.

Plus, we sponsor regular public forums to discuss the issues important to life here, from whether to host the Olympics to artists' rights at Pike Place Market.

And, of course, we have a good time doing it all, hosting regular parties and events at venues such as The Baltic Room and the OK Hotel.

Also, members receive regular email updates with heads up on important civic issues, the arts scene and more. Occasionally, local arts organization offer discounts to members for upcoming theatrical productions as well.
